Glazed Roasted Carrots

Ingredients

10-12 Carrots 1 stick unsalted butter 1 teaspoon honey 2 teaspoon brown sugar 1 teaspoon white cane sugar 1 whole lemon (squeezed) 1 cup fresh parsley (cut up) 1/4 cup of thyme 1/4 cup Locatelli grated cheese 1 teaspoon garlic powder 2 teaspoon kosher salt Pepper to taste 3 garlic cloves (sliced) 1/2 cup of water 1/4 cup of olive oil

Preparation

In a large pan heat olive oil and butter, combine brown sugar & white sugar together, honey, squeezed fresh lemon, kosher salt & pepper, garlic powder, fresh garlic (cut up), add 1/2 cup water and stir together. Simmer 3-5 minutes. Rinse organic carrots and cut off ends, place on tray and pour mixture over the carrots. Sprinkle Locatelli grated cheese. Sprinkle thyme and cut up parsley on top. Place in oven 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Ready to serve.
